Homepage of Helen Hogg
Welcome to WebDragon! I'm Helen, and this is one of my numerous corners of the web.
Here, you can find a fair amount of information about me through the links on the left, along with a small portfolio of the webdesign work I've done in the past. I'll also be putting up some essays, rambles and discourses on a wide variety of topics for your entertainment, amusement, and satirical comment.

Latest article: Big Brother: the Reality
Well, I've finally finished this article. It's taken longer than expected, I must admit. I've had a lot of the ideas, but the background research and ensuring that every fact is correct and not exaggerated becomes time-consuming.
I've also added a few more of your comments to various articles, so keep them coming! I hope to have some similar (and shorter, don't worry) articles to follow on related topics, including the single transverable vote, the G8 conference, and human rights. I know I promised you some more computer-related articles, but in this current political climate it may have to wait for a bit. Hold on to your hats, it's going to be a rocky month!

Latest article: Crazy Frog? Definitely crazy...
You can now find out about the sort of music that I listen to. I'm always on the lookout for something new, so if you have suggestions of things I might like, just drop me a line.
Seem to have been doing a lot of articles on the state of society lately. I might try to get something different up soon, maybe something computing-related. Read Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus yesterday while lying outside in the sun. Found it very interesting to see another side to Zeus. Seems like most other literature is more pro-Zeus. Can anyone give me more information on this? Was Aeschylus breaking a mould by criticising the father of the gods, or was this a common view that Aeschylus simply highlighted?
